"We had probably about 10,000 people attend the picnic," said Miller. "The weather held off, and we had a bunch of new events for people to enjoy."

He said the new events included a pie eating contest and a 1919 fashion show.

"We had some of the regular events too, during the day we had hamburgers, hotdogs, rides at the midway which people always like," said Miller. "We had at least three fire departments that were in the parade, we gave away gift cards of $200 dollars from Mirabitos, and there were other raffle baskets as well."
