BAINBRIDGE – Bainbridge-Guilford continued to provide a tough game with the No. 8 Greene Trojans as they have both times these two teams have met this season.
Needing overtime to decide a winner, Greene’s Caleb Davenport assisted on River McCumiskey’s game winner with three minutes remaining in the first overtime to keep the Trojans’ regular season conference record perfect.
Greene struck first when McCumiskey found Alec Frair streaking towards the goal. Frair rifled a shot and put the ball past B-G’s goalie Zach Graham, giving the Trojans a 1-0 lead.
The Bobcats responded later in the first half with Easton Port providing a through ball to teammate Gavin Farrell. As the pass was out in front of him, Farrell chased it down then added a tapping touch to the ball that went past the end line between the posts.
