Striking a chord: Colorscape to feature a weekend of free music

NORWICH – Music will be in the air during Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival across three different stages stationed throughout the festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9––and it’s free for all to enjoy.

Featuring a mix of new folk, roots, singer-songwriter, Americana, jazz, blues, and acoustic rock music, organizers have ensured there will be something for everybody at the 24th annual Colorscape.

Visitors will hear the jazzy and percussive sounds from the Leni Stern Group, featuring who Guitar Player magazine calls one of the “Most Sensational Female Guitarists of All Time”. A

lso performing will be John Hall, founder of the band Orleans (“Still the One,” “Dance with Me”), whose work included collaboration with Jackson Browne, Chet Atkins, Bonnie Raitt, and more before serving two terms in the US House of Representatives.
