SOUTH NEW BERLIN – Climbing to the top of the leaderboard for the South New Berlin Horseshoe club is Service Pharmacy, losing just one of the their matches in the last three weeks of play.

Larry Loomis and Allen Bush sit in first place with a record of 42-18 but Sheryl and Bob Rowe of Laughlin’s Lawn Care are just a half of a game behind in second place. The leaders are just a full game ahead the third place team Newton’s Reconditioning (Linda Ashcraft and John Newton).

As games need to still be made up due to the weather over the last few weeks, teams like Lloyd BBQ, Gilligan’s, Potter Tires, and Baillie Lumber are not out the running.

Ed Kohler of team Kelly’s Flowers tossed the highest single game of the week with a 94, over 10 points better than the second best game of the week. Bush of the leading Service Pharmacy team threw the best series of the week, recording a score of 225.

Holding down the top honors spot of the women is Sheryl Rowe. She threw a 77 for the highest game of the week while tossing the highest series score of 215. Cindy Miller was just three points behind the best game of the week with a score of 74.

Kelly’s Flowers once again claims both the highest single game and the highest series of the week. The team of Ed Kohler and Lee Coon recorded a series best score of 425 and threw a 157 for the best game produced by a team.

The South New Berling Horseshoe Club is scheduled to continue play on Wednesday, pending the weather. The league is down to it’s final three weeks of play.
