NORWICH – The Lady Tornado held the visiting Windsor squad scoreless in the first inning, but the Lady Black Knights scored five in the middle four innings to defeat Norwich 5-0 on their senior night.

Before the game, head coach Jim Sanford honored his five seniors: Peyton Seiler, Lauren Llewellyn, Alex Colley, Airelle Jacquette and Ana Concado.

Getting out of the first inning with a clean slate was Norwich’s starter Alex Colley. Colley controlled her pitches throughout the game but really hit her groove in the first frame. Her defense stood behind her, making great stops and nice plays.

However, Windsor slowly gained a five run lead by scoring one in the next three innings and adding two in the top of the fifth.
