JOHNSON CITY – The Lady Trojan's balanced offense and stifling defense helped push them past Windsor Thursday night, beating the Lady Knights 57-32.
Greene's McKenni Sergi, Alyssa Sands, and Emma Smith had the hot hands in the matchup, scoring 18, 15, and 12 points respectively.

OXFORD – Oxford girls varsity basketball fell to Morris on Thursday night, 21-40, as they were unable to get a flow going offensively.
The Mustangs forced 24 turnovers in the matchup in addition to holding the Lady Blackhawks to 14 percent shooting from the field.
Oxford's Karley Miller led the way scoring for the Lady Blackhawks, tallying seven points.

CANASTOTA – The Lady Vikings came up just short against Canastota on Wednesday night, losing 42-36.
Otselic Valley jumped ahead early but could ultimately not recover after the Raiders' big second quarter. OV was led Amber Meigs, who had 28 points.

SHERBURNE – The Sherburne-Earlville Lady Marauders fell to 0-2 Wednesday after falling to Central Valley, 53-36.
S-E had no answer to Central Valley's balanced offensive attack, which had four different scorers over 10 points.
Jaci Wright led S-E with eight points and four rebounds, and Sophia Khoury pitched in with seven points and eight rebounds.

Afton 69, Roxbury 66
MARGARETVILLE – In the opening round of the Margaretville Tournament on Thursday, Afton's Zach Alford and Tyler King combined for 19 of their team's total made field goals as the Crimson Knights defeated Roxbury 69-66 on Thursday. But the drama ensued at the end.
With 15 seconds left, the Rockets had a chance to get the last basket of regulation and force extra time, trailing 69-66.
The Rockets' Isaac Walker, who already had six three's in the game, put up a a shot from behind the arc as the clock was nearing zero. Walker couldn't get this attempt to fall as Afton went on to win and advance to Saturday's championship game.
Roxbury held a close 41-39 advantage going in the half as both teams created a back and forth lead changing game for the fans in the gym.
In the third quarter, Afton came out of the intermission controlling the contest as they outscored the Rockets 20-9. The Crimson Knight took a nine point lead into the final eight minutes.
The Rockets answered with a run to get back into the game but it just wasn't enough to take home the win and advance into the championship game.
Walker finished with a game-high 29 points in the loss. His teammate, Anthony Cortese, chipped in with ten points.
Afton was led by King, finishing the contest with a team-high 21 as Alford added 19.
