CHENANGO COUNTY - With the 2015 high school football season coming to a close it is now that time of the year to look back on the County’s teams and see how they fared.

Norwich - The Purple Tornado started their season a little rockey, droping their first three straight. Norwich picked up their first win in week four over long time rival Oneonta 28-6 and would win again in week six against Dryden 13-0 and would finish their season 2-7. After making the play-offs last season and finishing 6-4, Norwich had high hopes for the 2015 season.

Ultimately this was a rebuilding year for the Tornado as they look forward to and prepare for next season.

Bainbridge-Guilford - The Bobcats finished their season this year with the same record as last season at 3-6.

Although their records were the same, this was not the same team as last season. This year’s B-G team looked like a more cohisive unit and posted some impressive stats at the end of the season. The Bobcats were led by quarterback Austin Carr who would finish the season with over 1,000 all purpose yards and 16 all purpose touchdowns.
