A motorcyclist struck a guide rail just south of the County road 3 and State route 12 intersection south of Oxford, Thursday afternoon. The victim was airlifted to Wilson Regional Medical Center in Johnson City via LifeNet to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The incident shut down NYS-12 for approximately one and a half hours while a landing zone was established in a nearby field.
