WINDSOR – That Monday’s match was Norwich's first time on an outdoors tennis court this spring had little effect on the Purple Tornado's performance in a shutout win over the Black Knights.
Over the last three weeks, Norwich sharpened its game practicing indoors on a court and net made available by the Norwich YMCA. "We've been hitting balls for three weeks with net conditions, and it was a good first win," said Norwich coach John Stewart. "We looked like we had been practicing, but we just need to get match tough."
