Norwich 80, Windsor 35
WINDSOR – Newly minted with a number three Class B state ranking, Norwich lived up to that billing racing to a 12-0 start in a rout of the Black Knights Wednesday.
Everyone on the Norwich roster scored with Makenzie Maynard reaching a game-high 17 points to lead the Tornado (3-0). “We never looked back after the start, and they had a lot of trouble breaking our press,” said Norwich coach Josh Bennett.
Shelby Benjamin added 12 points for Norwich and Kassidy Seary scored eight. “It was nice to have the balanced scoring,” Bennett said.
Caitlyn Brown scored all seven of her points in the first quarter, and Maynard had 13 at halftime as Norwich built a 42-14 advantage.
Norwich hosts Chenango Valley Friday.

Unadilla Valley 40, Unatego 33
NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley pulled away in the fourth quarter making seven free throws, and Sierra Badger had six of her team-high 11 points in Wednesday’s win.
The Storm led by just a single basket entering the last quarter, but went to the foul line 16 total times to stretch out their advantage. Shannon McIntyre and Hannah Lazarus had eight points apiece for the Storm in the victory.

Greene 49, Oxford 11
GREENE – Greene defeated Oxford for the second time this season allowing just five field goals in Wednesday’s rout.
Junior Katie Carey put forth a big game at both ends of the floor. She scored 19 points, and added six steals and five blocked shots. Kristie Haskell netted 10 points for Greene, and the Trojans had 13 team assists out of 22 baskets. “We were in the right position offensively and defensively, and good things happened,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton.
At one point, the Trojans were 20-for-38 from the field, and finished the game just shy of 50 percent shooting. “We were fortunate to shoot it well,” Gorton said. “We passed the ball well, and that led to easy shot opportunities.”
Greene hosts Sidney Friday.

Delhi 50, Bainbridge-Guilford 46
BAINBRIDGE – Delhi made up a 15-point deficit in the second half rallying past Bainbridge-Guilford (2-2) Wednesday.
The Bobcats hurt themselves with 26 turnovers in the game, and shot just 1-for-9 from the field in the fourth quarter. “We had some foolish fouls, and we just fell apart in the fourth quarter,” said B-G coach Bob Conway.
The Bobcats led 29-25 at the half, and used a 13-2 run to start the third keyed by three Becca Reyes three-pointers to raise their lead to 42-27. Reyes had six treys in the game finishing with a season-high 20 points.
B-G hosts Afton Friday.

Blessed Virgin Mary 55, Otselic Valley 38
CAZENOVIA – Blessed Virgin Mary held OV to 12 first-half points, and made six out of seven three-point attempts in Tuesday’s victory at Cazenovia College.
Austin Reynolds had nine points for the Vikings, who have lost back-to-back games.
“They are pretty good, but we just didn’t play well at all,” said Vikings coach Dave Loomis. Loomis said his team committed 23 turnovers. “We didn’t play with enough intensity, determination or focus to give us a chance to win.”
Austin Reynolds had nine points for OV (2-2), who plays at Morris Friday.
