NORWICH – According to New York State Police, an autopsy of the body of Christopher M. Gonzalez was conducted by Dr. Robin Eastman-Abbaya at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton on Jan. 11, and it was determined that the cause of death was hypothermia.

The statement from police indicated that a secondary contributing factor was found to be drug toxicity.

The manner of death was ruled accidental.

The firearms were returned, according to Mike Mayhood, and further details from him will appear in tomorrow's edition.
