The DVD Patrol told you before that we have specials come out every so often and we thought we would do this one. With the Summer Movie Season starting only a few weeks away and with the release of "Man of Steel" just around the corner, this seemed like the perfect time to bring this one out. The Toddster also has someone he would like to welcome, someone new to the team, but more on that later. Here are just a few options to get you primed for it. Now Up, Up, and Away!!
TheBatman/Superman Movie – There's nothing like seeing the World's Greatest Heroes meeting for the first time. It seems Batman has been tracking the Joker since he's been able to shut down all of his operations in Gotham City. Now it seems the Joker has been able to get his hands on a Dragon Statue made from Kryptonite and there is only one place to head for – Metropolis. The Clown Prince of Crime needs some fast cash and what better person to head for than Lex Luthor, who, as we all know, doesn't exactly like the Man of Steel. Superman and the Caped Crusader don't really hit it off during their first meeting either. Can they get things together to stop their major enemies before Luthor can use his latest toy to stop our favorite duo?
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies – Things get tricky when heroes have to deal with their major enemies. Take Superman. He's always had to work a little bit to take down the schemes of Lex Luthor, but this time he'll need the help of the World's Greatest Detective to do it. Luthor has now become the President of the United States and a planet size chuck of Kryptonite is now heading for Earth. Batman tells Superman he may have to work with Luthor to stop it from coming. This President can't resist a chance to get rid of the Man of Tomorrow. He tells the public about what's coming but blames it on Superman and puts a $1 billion bounty on his hand. Hero and villain alike can't resist the chance of coming after Superman. Now Batman has to step in to save his friend and stop the Earth from getting blown to pieces. Will the World's Finest team be able to expose Luthor and save the World in time?
