We’re in the Home Stretch, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is fast approaching the end of the year and Christmas is just around the corner. The Toddster hopes you enjoyed our James Bond special last week. We also have some news about a certain caped crusader but more on him later. Here we go for the end of the race.
New on DVD
Men In Black 3 - You never know if you’ll get a chance to start over again. Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) have been working secretly for an organization that polices alien life here on Earth. Thankfully, they work as “Men in Black” but no one ever knows about them. This time around an old enemy of Agent K has escaped from prison and has gotten his hands on a time travel device. J finds about it and now has to go back in time on his own to stop him. In the process, K has been erased and J has to find a way to bring him back. He’ll have to find K’s younger self (Josh Brolin) for help. Can Agents J and K find a way to put time right again? Another good action movie just out on DVD is ‘Fire Fire” that stars Bruce Willis and Josh Duhamel and is available in stores now.
The Expendables 2 - The mission never changes just the players. Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) has come back to recruit Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his expendables team with Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), and Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lungren). It seems Church wasn’t exactly happy with the last job they did so Church wants Barney to make it right. They get sent to get a computer back. Along with new recruits Billy (Liam Hemsworth) and Toll Road (Randy Couture), they go after it but in the process they get ambushed by Jean Vilain and his men (Jean Claude Van Damme). Vilain kills Billy and now Barney and the guys want nothing but revenge. How far will they go to get the mission done? Statham will be back in action in “Player” coming to theaters in January and Hemsworth is currently working on “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” coming out in November 2013.
