Greene 58, Windsor 44
WINDSOR – Coming off one of its more flat performances at Delhi last week, Greene returned to the hardwood floor with one of its best games of the season.
“This game was huge for us, and we wanted to be playing well going into the Oxford game Saturday night,” said Greene coach Rick Smith. “We needed to go in there and get a good jump on them. We came out with a lot of energy, took the ball to the basket, and played good defense.”
Isaiah Webb scored 11 of his 12 points in the opening two quarters as Greene led 34-24. Webb and teammate Sam Adams also shared defensive duties on Windsor’s top big man, Garrett Gaeta. Gaeta was limited to just 10 points, and the Greene inside duo’s rebounding helped kick-start the Trojans’ atack. “We were rebounding well out of our man-to-man defense, and when we play man well, we run well,” Smith said. “I think we tired Windsor out in the first half pushing the ball.”
Adams provided most of the Trojans’ scoring in the second half downing 15 of his 23 points. Webb completed his night with nine rebounds and 12 points. Evan Moxley provided eight points and six steals.

Unatego 68, Unadilla Valley 46
OTEGO – Unatego separated itself from Unadilla Valley in the third quarter outscoring the Storm 17-4 to pull away for the victory Thursday night.
UV, down by as many as 16 in the first half, cut that deficit in half late in the second quarter to put itself in position to close the gap further.
“In the third quarter, they picked us up with full-court pressure, and we just didn’t handle it at all,” said UV coach Matt Osborne. “Unatego is a big, athletic team. Man for man, they’re a tough team for us to match up with.”
Will May had 14 points to lead the Spartans.
UV’s Juster Hofer scored 11 points and Brandon Miles added 10.

G-MU 43, Deposit 22
DEPOSIT – G-MU moved out of the Tri-Valley League for one game, and found great success at Deposit Wednesday night winning its 11th game of the season.
Ian Edwards had his best game in two weeks finishing with 12 points as the entire Raiders lineup played significant minutes. “Edwards needed a night like this, and he’s been walking on half an ankle for a week. I think he’s starting to feel better, and he was much more active,” said G-MU coach Bill Hartman. “This was really a night all of our kids needed.”
G-MU, in limiting Deposit to 22 points, had 14 total steals. DeMario Reed led the Raiders with six pilfers.
The Raiders play at Franklin tonight at 8 p.m.
