Otselic Valley 3, DeRuyter 0
DERUYTER – Otselic Valley (7-2) picked up one of its most impressive wins of the season dominating the second half in Friday’s shutout victory at DeRuyter.
After a scoreless first half, Brent Rasmussen, Dusty Davis, and Hunter Grace had goals for the Vikings. Dylan Comfort made six saves in goal for OV.
“It was like two separate games,” said Otselic Valley coach Dave Loomis. “They were able to control play in the first half. They didn’t get a lot of shots, but they were quicker to the ball and played well. In the second half, we shifted gears and took over. We were able to get a number of shots, and obviously put three in the net. It was a nice win for us, especially coming off a disappointing loss to McGraw.”
