WALTON – Greene finished its division schedule with a perfect 10-0 mark blasting Walton on Tuesday afternoon.

In the two clubs’ first meeting, Walton outhit the Trojans (14-1) in a 4-1 loss. This time, Greene banged out 15 hits, and winning pitcher Rebecca Hanrahan threw a two-hit shutout. “It was a better outcome tonight than I expected,” said Greene coach Rick Smith. “The girls were really focused tonight. It could have been easy to go over there tonight and not show up because we already clinched the division. We hit the ball well the whole game, and I’m hoping it lasts through the MAC championship game.”

Hanrahan was a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with two homers, five RBI, and five runs scored. Brittany Youngs was 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored.
