State Troopers look for new barracks in Norwich

NORWICH – The New York State Troopers are actively searching to replace their current Norwich headquarters.

The current barracks are located on state Rt. 12 a few hundred yards south of Wal-Mart in the Town of Norwich.

The captain said he could not remember the exact numbers, but said there had been a slow and steady growth of personnel.
