SMYRNA – Police have concluded an investigation into a hunting accident that occurred earlier this month and have arrested a man for accidentally shooting another hunter.

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Randy L. Wilcox Sr., 47, Smyrna, for 2nd degree reckless endangerment ( a class A misdemeanor).

Police claim Wilcox recklessly created a substantial risk of serious physical injury by reasons of neglect or incompetence.
