Here come the brides

Ah, spring is here. Do you have any idea what that means? It means wedding season is just around the corner.

For those who are not familiar with the term, wedding season typically lasts from May until August. During that time, there is a veritable stampede of couples running through the aisles, rushing to tie the knot.

As someone who has already experienced my own wedding, each year, wedding season is especially exciting for me. Three years have gone by since my wedding, and I am now able to sit back, relax and enjoy the entertainment as couples try to achieve the perfect wedding. I know I shouldn’t laugh, but there is something about weddings that brings out the most demanding and bossy side of people, and as long as I’m not the one they’re demanding things of, it can be very entertaining.

Anything could set it off. One comment about the placement of your veil or if your sister doesn’t help you when you ask her to (but seriously, they should have just helped me with my earrings when I asked them to and kept quiet about the veil, and I wouldn’t have had to throw things) is enough to turn a sweet, good-natured bride into a monster the likes of which you’ve never seen.
